Birth Doula in Savannah, GA and surrounding areas
A birth or labor doula is a non-medical professional who provides emotional, informational, physical, and practical support for the laboring mother or couple. A doula will help the laboring couple be more effective and help them work together to form an ideal team. Hypnosis before, during and after pregnancy and childbirth teaches the mom and her birth partner to use her natural instincts, trust her body, release emotions and facilitate relaxation. It can even help assist to turn a baby that is in a breech presentation to a more appropriate birth position. The use of hypnosis during birth has shown to result in significantly fewer surgical births while promoting the bonding between mom, baby and birth companion.
